2 Live Wires ("we," "us," or "our") operates https://2livewires.net and provides electrical contracting services to customers in and around Slatington, PA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website or contact us, and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you request a quote or otherwise contact us, we collect:

• Your name, phone number, and email address (if provided)
• The service address for the job
• A description of the work you need, including an optional voice recording you choose to submit — if you record one, it is transcribed to text to help us understand the job and stored along with your request

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking scripts on this site at this time.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your quote request and prepare an estimate
• Schedule and carry out service appointments
• Communicate with you about an appointment, estimate, job, or invoice
• Keep a record of work performed at your property, for warranty and future service

Text messages (SMS)

If you provide your mobile phone number — whether verbally when scheduling service or by submitting it through our website — you may receive text messages related to your appointment, such as "your technician is on the way" or "your technician has arrived," and at times a link to pay an invoice. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run our business — such as scheduling, texting, email, and payment-processing platforms — solely to provide our services to you, or when required by law.

Data retention

We keep customer and job information for as long as needed for business records, warranty purposes, and legal or tax requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete the information we hold about you, or stop texting you (reply STOP), by contacting us using the information below.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are directed at adults seeking electrical work for a home or business, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change.
